Well, I'm taking the plunge and going to choir practice tomorrow night and leaving DS in with his daddy. I asked the HV ans she said it would be fine to go out as we've established feeding nicely, and we already know the boy is fine with a bottle since we had early BF issues before getting a tongue tie sorted. I've been expressing and putting a stock of EBM in the freezer. The question is, how much EBM should we give him for an average feed? I do wish breasts had some sort of guage on them to tell you how much the baby has had!

Apparently, the 'average' BF is about 100ml, however, every woman and baby is different. If you haven't defrosted enough you can defrost some quite quickly by warming it in hot water (in a container, obviously!). Bear in mind whether your baby cluster feeds or has both breasts in the evening before bedtime. Also remember that your baby will stop when he has had enough. Enjoy your evening!
