I haven't been around for a while due to busy busy busy family life...

Thanx to everyone for all the encouragement and help over this last year. The support you all offer is outstanding and a must have to all new bfing mums.

Hopefully, we will have time in the new year to hang out on here again

I'm breastfeeding my ds who is now 5 days old.
I have to say that I feel very committed to bfing, and it is largely due to the wellspring of support and knowledge that I have here on Mumsnet.
Been a bit rough so far, but have found loads of useful advice already.

Well done ladies! For me and ds, bf was defo an art and not something that always came easily. I wish I had heard about MN whilst I was bf, as there is so much useful info here and there's always someone to talk to.
