lactating again but no baby -WTF?

Has this happened to anyone else? I stopped bf LO 3 months ago, but now my boobs are leaking milk again. How can this be?

Was a long time ago but this happened to me with DS2. I seem to remember a visit to the GP to get hormone (prolactin?) level checked. Leaking carried on for about 9 months after finishing BF, IIRC.

Bumping this, anyway, for someone with more knowledge.

I did not even breastfeed , my DD is 2.5 and i still get a damp bra from time to time

oh phew! Thanks, I got such a shock. Also, think it has reminded LO of her babyhood, She gave up bf herself at 13 months, but now showing interest again. How odd.
