Extended breast feeding- how often do they feed?

I am still breast feeding my 19 month old. I think I'll stop when he reaches two, as his older brother did.

I am just curious as to how much other little ones this age feed?
He eats really well, but still wants milk throughout the night (we co sleep mostly so this isn't too much work), but a lot again in the morning, before bed and if I'm at home in the day two or three times then, too.

I fed DC1 until 19 months but he weaned off naturally then. He would only feed in the morning and the evening by that point and then stopped all together. If you are consleeping I suppose your DC has easy access so will naturally feed more frequently.

DC1 at that age fed just bedtime, nap time and first thing in the morning (so I could stay in bed longer!). DC2 fed multiple times throughout the day and I think once in the night (not cosleeping or I’m sure it would have been more)

DD at that age fed morning and evening
DS more variable, probably 3-4 times. Only twice on my work days.
I night weaned both at about 11m and actively distracted DS when he wanted to feed too much. Also only fed lying on the bed so he didn't ask when out and about.

Fed DD until she turned 3, DS still going (nearly 3). For me I needed to reduce to what I was happy with to continue. If you let them set the pace, they will often feed more.

Mine is almost three and is still breastfeeding. We still feed on demand, but don't usually do it out of the house. At least five times a day and much more on the weekends or if he wakes overnight

Ime that’s completely normal for that age op. I was going to stop at 2 but decided instead just to let mine self wean. Gradually reduced and then stopped a bit over 3.

I’m still feeding 3yr old sporadically. She fed in bed this morning and the last time maybe a couple of evenings ago. We night weaned her before she was a year so that doesn’t happen and now it’s mainly bed or morning when she remembers. I’m amazed there’s still milk left tbh. My first stopped at 2yr3mo ish when I was pregnant and milk changed. Thinking of a 3rd so maybe that will be when this one stops too. Last one I may intervene more but don’t really want to take it away from them when it’s so important to them and not often bothering me. My advice for extended feeding is teaching about etiquette and saying no if they are feeding in an uncomfortable way etc. that way it remains enjoyable for both.

My first was down to just one before bed feed by 18 months and weaned herself soon after. My second got to 2.5 years still having overnight feeds, by 3 was just having one before bed, weaned himself at 3yrs 2 months.

I fed DD til just over 2, so about 27 months for comparison. She fed morning, after work/nursery and bedtime. If I had to go out then the after nursery and bedtime feeds were dropped without too much issue. We didn't feed outside the home as I remember, but DD was never bothered outside the home after a certain point

Ds2 is 12 months (don't know if that's extended or not?) he usually feeds morning and bedtime except if he's sick or teething.
