I want to join a local breastfeeding club

About to have my first baby and want to be in touch with breastfeeders so they can make sure I don't fail.

Is there anyone near to Wrexham, North Wales, who knows of a local one. Or is there a site I can look to find this out?

It may well be too far for you, but there is a baby cafe in Chester on Thursday lunchtimes. I'll be there tomorrow if you want more details, and the infant feeding specialist from the Countess of Chester will be there - she is excellent and would give you some great support.

Let me know if you want details, and congratulations - both on the bump and on wanting to breastfeed and preparing so well!

Carrotmas - That is abit far but if there are none closer i'd love to hear more about it! - I don't know Chester very well and always get lost whenever I go there!! hahaha

It's at Caldy Valley Church near Sainsburys from 12.30 till 2.30.

There may well be something nearer to you, though!

Come along to Ma's Ba in Llay Resource Centre on Monday lunchtimes (12 - 1:30, but we all stay for longer). There is a health visitor specialising in breastfeeding on hand for advice, and we're a lovely friendly bunch.

It's having a break over Christmas so the next one is on 7th January. When are you due?

Where in Wrexham do you live? I can give you directions to LLay. If you drive, it should only take about 10 minutes.

Caldy Valley Church is right next to one of the Park & rides, you don't go into Chester at all.

i run a website in the southeast for our breastfeeding group and just searched for different sites to get links to, that was one of them
