OMG it hurts!!! What is wrong with my breast?

I have got up and my left boob is painful and it hurts to express (never feed from that one, never get enough milk from it) whats wrong??

sparkly, sorry to hear that after all yo've been through - is it hard to touch anywhere? You might have a blocked duct, especially if you don't feedor express from it.

gotta run sure someone else will come on and advise but in meantime, apply heat (gel packs, hot water bottle, hot shower, hot flannels), stroke and massage even if painful, towards nipple, take ibuprofen to help pain and allow you to feed and express, and try to express/feed on that side, even if not much comes out since you need to clear any blockage or backed up milk and or drain any inflamed ducts.

Might well be summat else but sounds likely.

If you get a temperature or feel feverish etc call BF helplines and/or go and see GP...

i alway express from that side, never get a lot of milk out though. i have just fed callum on that side, just to try and clear it, it hurt so much!
