Growth spurts in premature babies?

Hi everyone, quick question. Does anyone know whether growth spurts in premature babies follow the real age or the adjusted age?

I.e. My dts are 16 weeks today but were 5 weeks early. Should I be expecting next week to be a bf marathon? (taking into account the avg 12 week growth spurt)

Not that it matters either way - am just interested to know...

Thanks!

Really depends on how they've been growing so far and other probs they may have had. Premmies have growth spurts at different times - look at their growth charts and see if they're following one of the standard curves or their own special curve!
