I tried MAM teats and they don't fit. Box says 'standard', but what is that? thanks in advance.

These days there are 2 types of bottles, standard and wide neck.

The medela bottles I have need the standard size teat which I have bought from superdrug own brand, asda own brand and boots own brand.

Then you get into the standard flow, variflow (more you suck the more you get), fast, medium, slow, 3 months+ etc. etc.

I presume you haven't got the haberman feeder bottle which takes another sort of teat altogether?

It may be easiest if you take a bottle collar with you and offer it up (as much as is possible through the plastic packaging) to judge whether or not the standard size teat will fit.
