It's in an Avent bottle with a proper lid. Pumped it at around 10pm last night.

Yes, mine went off relatively quick compared to the official guidelines (too much lipase, i think, which just happens with some people) but it would be fine if I froze it within 24 hours. Go for it.

yes, but I tended to use those special bags, or just tupperwares, so the bottles weren't out of action

It will last anything from 1 month to a year depending on your freezer. 1 month if it is one of those tiny ice box things inside a fridge, 3 - 6 months in a fridge feezer and a year in a chest freezer that isn't opened much. But I'm guessing you'll be using it before then

Defrost overnight in the fridge or out on the surface for a few hours, or if you need it quicker stick the bottle in some hot water. If you do that you should probably use it up quicker than if you defrost slowly though.

dd likes hers warm so I defrost just when I need it by standing it a jug of hot water till it's warm, but you can thaw it for 12h in the fridge.
