DD is 13 months and BF morning and night. For the last couple of months her lovely snuggy bedtime feed has been marred by pinches, slaps and bites and every night I say No More! But then I change my mind.

Not tonight though, DP is up there now singing and rocking away and while I am very glad not to be gaining more pinch bruises round my neck I am feeling sad too... end of a little era I suppose

I will still have the lovely morning feed to look forward to though

How odd, I've not BF DD tonight either for the first time ever (she is 13 months old too). But we stopped morning feeds 2 weeks ago, and so I am very sad tonight, no more BF. No happiness here

Enjoy your morning feeds while they last!

I will have to have another glass of wine to cope I think.

oh it is a weird combination of emotions isn't it? my dd stopped bf at 13 1/2 months pretty much herself. she had already stopped am ones, and we had had some serious mucking about/nipping/biting/pulling and giggling etc, then one night dh put her to bed and i said: "if she wants it i'll come up" fully expecting to be shouted within mintues and he came down and said she was asleep and i was gutted but free of bruised nips!
