Which formula to introduce at 6 months 1/2?

Hiya,

So my LO has started having solids about a month ago, along with breastfeeding, all good so far. Then about a week ago, I've started a diet, exercise, cut out all snack between meals, smaller portions etc. Now, during the day, my LO seems happy to have meals and breastmilk. However, comes night time, he'll wake up several times and each time I feel he's not satisfied. So my guess is my diet has affected my milk supply, breast doesn't feel as full etc. That's fine, I'll continue as long as I can, but for the sake of LO getting enough milk at night, and more sleep, I want to introduce a formula dream feed. Which brand would you recommend? There's just so many, I don't know which one to go for?
Thanks

I used aptamil stage 1 (you honestly don't need any other stages/hungry baby etc) to supplement when needed.
May be worth looking at the wonder weeks to see if he is undergoing a developmental leap- that could be why he is waking.
Also worth noting the diet/activity doesn't usually affect milk supply, at least that's what the bf groups say.
Good luck!

They’re all pretty much the same, they have to be. Just get the cheapest!
Also make sure you get first ‘from birth’ milk, not follow on. Follow on milk is just a con to get round advertising laws. First milk till a year old, then whole cows milk is fine :)

@Unnbloodybelievable, thanks for the tip, I'd have fallen right in at this one!
@Queenfreak, thanks for the recommendation, I'll look into it! You're right he might be going through a leap, yesterday he was waking up what felt like every hour!

Any first milk is fine! Don't get sucked into the follow on ones they aren't needed.
