Help! One breast is now much bigger than the other

Over the past few days one breast has become a lot bigger than the other. I'm breastfeeding my 8 month old ds evening and one or two feeds in the night. I think the bigger boob is the one I have fed more from but I'm not sure... I've tried to use the other more and it's still getting bigger... what can I do to stop it???

Thanks!!

Hi SOSL

I understand your problem. I experienced the same thing.
The breast size is definitely determined by usage, so you are doing the right thing by trying to concentrate feeding on the smaller breast.
Your larger one is probably getting larger initially because the milk is not being removed as much. However, after a few days you will find that it does start to get smaller again as the milk production goes down.
The smaller one will also get larger with the extra use and they should even up.
Then you can return to more even usage and try to get the balance back.
It just takes a few days, so don't panick quite yet!
