Expressing and lack of time ?

Just wondering when does everyone fit in expressing ? I try to aim for the morning but not seem to get round to having pump to hand first thing and then ds dressed and is napping ? Then before i know its the evening and ive not expressed ?

any advise maybe im disorganized ?

I would express when DS is sleeping. I always expressed between feeds as I found it easier. I whipped off a couple of ounces a few times a day. Was expressing because I worked and for SCBU donation.

I tried when feeding an found it hard but heard it was best to express with ds feeding ? but shall try on my own ..can i sterilize the pump and assemble ready or should it always remain in sterilize and used straight away ? thats my main problem having pump ready to go ..

You can sterilise it and have it ready. You might find hand expressing easier, no pump needed - milk flows faster when you have the knack
