I am at my friend's house for a few days. She has an 8 week old DD, and for various reasons stopped bfing about 4 weeks ago, but would really like to start again, and I really want to help her.

Is relactation possible at this stage, and if so how should she go about it? We are going to try and get to a bfing group tomorrow but I though I would seek advice here first.

motilium is available over the counter at the chemist. i found it is working for me and is increasing my supply. not up to full bf but working on it.

I think it is possible, but will be very hard work.

As well as putting baby to breast at every opportunity, she will need to be expressing a least 8 times a day, even (especially) at night. Motilium/domperidone probably a good idea too.

try www.kellymom.com, and keep bumping for tiktok.

Thanks for the help. it sounds like it will be hard work, and she has a 3 yo, but I will try support her if she does decide to do it.
