DD1 has just said to me.......

her baby is hungry and I said "I think there is a bottle in the toy box" she said "no Mummy the baby wants milk from it's Mummy's boobies thats the best milk"

She then lifted her top and "fed" her baby and said there is loads of milk in her tummy for the baby it's been about 9 months since I last BF so I don't think she can remember me doing it. I have said to her that some babies get milk from boobies some have bottles, she has bottles for her dolls but likes to BF them.

my son does the exact same thing, and started about 4 mths after i last fed my dd (baby no2).....we think its so sweet but very funny as he's a boy....we've tried explaining that only mummy's have milk in their boobies

My DS does that - it's lovely

Thats what I think I want them growing up thinking that BFing is the "normal" way to feed a baby.

I had never seen anyone BF whilst growing up or until I had DD1 but probably as people are so discreet

If this one sticks she will be 4 when it's born I think she will be such a little Mummy.
