Reasons for 17wk old taking so long to drink her milk?

DD2 usually takes an hour to drink her milk. Shouldn't she be quicker by now? She is sucking most of the time but sometimes it can take 15 mins for 2ozs! She is on Dr Brown bottles, no 2 teats - tried no 3s but they are too fast and half the milk goes down her chin. Milk is Aptamil Easy Digest which is a bit thicker but surely it can't be that much thicker. She has from about wk2 been either blocked or runny nose - do you think could make it difficult for her to suck? Also was tongue tied and wondering if the snip hasn't worked properly? Or just that she is a slow drinker and will get quicker eventually. Its just that she spends so much energy sucking she sometimes falls asleep mid-feed. Am a bit stumped as to what I should do other than try other bottles maybe?? Any advice?

I bottlefed all my kids, sma white and my last baby was 6 weeks when we went to france and had to change formula. But there was one particular brand that she seemed to be sucking on forever it seemed to be just stuck in the bottle. I think it was that particular formula as when we changed to another type it was fine.

Is there a reason she's on Easy Digest? Perhaps try an alternative from Aptamil. I also found my DS took longer on a Dr Brown bottle than a Avent one, so it may simply be the bottle type. My DS had reflux, so would take an ounce or two, then need an upright rest so a 5-6oz feed took us an hour too!

She is on Easy Digest as she has always been very windy and Aptmail First Milk didn't seem to agree with her. May try it again now she is that bit older
