I posted here last week about my little love who is 19 months and was waking loads at night and demanding 'mi-mi' 24/7. I also posted about her on-going problems with chronic constipation. I was really feeling all sucked out and was ready to quit breastfeeding (but was thwarted by having the flu and not having the energy to deal with it)

Anyway, after face off with the doctor we have sorted the constipation and the difference is incredible - she is feeding on one side at night and then going through till about 6am! I always thought that she was waking up with tummy pain. She's also finally eating really well and now has cut out loads of day-time feeds as well - now if she asks for 'mi-mi' I offer her a snack instead and mostly she accepts it and eats!

Anyway, thank you to all of the support I received here. If she carries on like this I'll be able to keep going till she's 2 which is what I always wanted.

well done jenkey. I've also found with bf sometimes the solution is not always what it appears to be at first. DD has eczema and I am sure it wakes her up too so I feed her back to sleep alot. this way everyone gets more sleep. we cosleep.

well done!!

my LO's can't tell the difference between thirsty / hungry / tired so ask for whichever they think of first, or see something relating to (cup, bed, biscuit etc) which may not be entirely accurate IYSWIM. I don't think mine are the only ones to have this confusion either - think about it?!
