Hi - posted this in another message but trying again.

10 week old breastfeeding baby has become particularly fussy about feeding and don't know what to do - he seems hungry but refuses breast. This is new and is worse in the evenings. Also refusing dummy which he's had happily for 8 weeks. Not feeding for as long as normal either, particularly in evenings. A bit snuffly but not nearly so bad as recent 10 days of cold and blocked nose so don't think it's that. Can't work out what to do and finding the screaming fairly wearing after managing to crack the feeding (3rd baby but still had latch problems, blocked ducts etc...)

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks
Monkeybird

he may just want some comfort.....have you tried a sling/baby carrier?? i never had this problem myself, but hope you get it sorted out soon!! ((hugs))

overtired?
dd (11wks) thinks she's hungy then screams / claws / pulls away
if I bounce her / walk her / sling her for 10mins she'll often fall asleep (max 20min) and then wake up calm enough to eat
