My first experience of negativity towards BF in nearly 4 years and 4 children

Yesterday in M&S cafe. Feeding DD3 (9 weeks).

A woman didn't actually say anything to me but looked at me, actually turned up her nose and looked away muttering to her husband.

When she looked back, I looked her straight in the eye and smiled.

Honestly I have BF most places and never encountered anything but positive looks and comments...

I've never experienced it in the last 11 yrs (nearly). Not sure how I'd deal with it. I think you did well.

Perhaps it wasn't the bf that she objected to. Were you wearing a particularly objectionable hat?
