13m old diet, is this ok?

Hi. Just wanted to know if this sounds ok for a 13m old?

A typical day would be;

Breakfast: porridge with peanut butter made up with whole milk.

Lunch: cheese sandwich, cucumber sticks, pepper sticks, blueberries and plain greek yogurt

Dinner: grilled fish, steamed/boiled broccoli, sweet potato mash

Snacks consumed most days: banana/rice cake with butter/plain corn puffs, maybe a satsuma or a biscuit or a cup of milk

She only is given water to drink.

Bedtime: about 300ml milk (with vitamin drops mixed in)

Obviously this is just a snapshot. Some days when she's not so well, she might just want blander food. Some days she eats like a horse and others a sparrow. She doesn't always get 5 fruit and veg every day, but other days she'll have it all every meal and snack, so it evens out.

Just wondering if there's anything "missing"? I want her to get all the nutrients, like enough protein, carbs, calcium etc.

Sounds brilliant. Just make sure the fish is oily fish once a week, such as mackerel, tuna, sardines, salmon. Eggs are good to introduce too.

Fish is salmon/tuna/tinned mackerel/cod/prawns/coley etc

She has eggs! She loves them. :)

It sounds great, but I think you probably knew that anyway.

It's certainly a way better diet than my 14 month has. She will barely eat anything except toast! If I have her a sandwich she'd pull it apart and throw the bits on the floor.

I worry, some days she only wants to eat bread and cheese :( and I worry she has too much fruit.i think she'd eat nothing but bananas, blueberries and strawberries if she had her own way.

Lean into the fruit thing, it may be useful later.

DS (now 5) used to eat pretty much anything at that age but now lives exclusively on peanut butter sandwiches and fruit. Thank goodness for fruit!
