Help!

Introduced 11pm formula feed last night. He took 5oz. He has been very fussy at the breast today. Now in bed and refusing breast. He's 19 weeks.

I'm really not sure what to advise but just bumping for you.

Chill. Formula will fill them up for longer anyway. Just keep offering the breast, and see how you go. Lots of babies happily combine the two. Baby might be fussy for a completly unrelated reason.

I had this, though not straight away. DD sussed that she'd get a bottle (much less hassle) so never bothered with making an effort on the breast. Ended up ditching the formula as it was affecting my supply.

Also a baby that is normally excl bfed is not used to the "heaviness" of formula, so the first few times they may feel knocked out.

He did feed after about an hour when I turned the lights out and put a blanket over my shoulder/his head. Babies really are quite crazy aren't they? Thanks for the advice.
