Help! I've made the same mistake twice! Breast and bottle

Someone please tell me a miracle solution. I have a 12 week old baby. I'm breastfeeding. I wanted my baby to take the occasional bottle. With my first i breastfed and introduced an expressed bottle a couple times a week. He took it fine. Then I got lazy and gave them less and less and before I knew it that was it. He never took another one.

With my new daughter, I gave a bottle every week. But she's now refusing it. I guess I wasn't doing it frequently enough. I've tried different bottles, someone else feeding her. Formula/ expressed milk. I've tried when she's happy, a little hungry, very hungry and nothing is working. If tried the same position I BF in other positions. Her facing every which way, quite rooms. Everything I can think of!

I want her to have one as we have a special occasion coming up and I was hoping to be child free for a few hours (and sometimes to get some sleep!) 🤞🏼

Did anyone have a baby who refused a bottle and eventually took it? If so tell me your secret!!

Get someone else to do it. Leave the house so she can't smell you.

Don’t have much of an answer as I pretty much EBF, but once I left my DS at 4mo with DH for a day with expressed milk... baby starved himself for SEVEN HOURS before he gave in and took the bottle. He usually fed every 2-3hs at that point. I was almost beside myself with worry, and then on my way back (not to help, I was heading back anyway) he accepted it. So if you leave baby, I reckon they’ll give in when they’re hungry enough... whether your emotional health can take it, is another matter 😂
