anyone not tried there dc on formula by 14 weeks and then regreted it ...as dc wouldnt drink it ?

im thinking of giving the odd bott now and again ....
im also v curiuos to see if she will even drink it
anyone else ever felt that way

Having said that, only DS1 was ever willing to take a bottle of EBM at all. Can't say I regretted the other 2 not taking a bottle though.

nope, I was very proud when dh threw away the formula that the hv has insisted that he get "just in case" as it was past it's use by date

I tried (DD1 started nursery) at 12 weeks and failed - she never accepted the bottle, so I used cups and carried on BF - she went completely off formula aged around 18 months. I'd give it a try, though, you can't guarantee you'll be around or with milk all the time.
