Infant gaviscon - ds in real pain - VERY WORRIED

Doc gave me gaviscon for my ds to try we gave him the first dose tonight and since he had it he's been stiff as a board and screaming like he has never screamed before - he's only 6 weeks and i'm really worried, it;s been going on about an hour now. What do you think I should do?

If it were me I think I'd call the out of hours doc. But then I don't think Gaviscon can do any harm.

id call the doc even for addvise in case it was an allergic reaction

Kitty I posted on yourother thread too, gaviscon can cause constipation it may be that is the problem or if he is on it for reflux, it may be that which causing him pain. Back arching and crying in pain is a symptom of reflux.
