Baby won't feed and I'm really full!

He's 8 and a half months old and usually feeds every 2 - 3 hours every day and just as much at night. The past couple of days he's not been feeding as much and today he's hardly fed at all although I've offered him milk a few times.

He has just gotten over a cold but he fed even more more during that time. I'm really full and uncomfortable now, is there anything I can do? I don't want to express as this will just make it worse later.

Does this mean he might be dropping feeds or wanting to stop?

Forgot to say we're BLW and has been eating a fair bit today and getting more all the time, he really likes his food. Is this just normal and the way it's supposed to go now he's this age?

he's going to be dopping a feed here and there soon I think, and I would be tempted to go with that pattern as it has been establishing itself over a few days. Expressing just enough to relieve the symptoms for yourself wouldn't hurt, or take a couple of apracetamol and try a warm flannel over the breast area (be preapred for leakage).

Your supply has increased because of the recent extra feeding. I would express, just to take the edge off the discomfort for now. He will feed soon and it will all settle down again.

Thanks. He's just has a before bed feed (thankfully) so at least one side isn't sore now! If I'm lucky he'll wake up again soon hehe.
