Hi All

I gave away my Avent steriliser and all the bottles after DS1 and expecting DS2 in 4 weeks...DOH!

Have decided to try breast feeding again but wanted a back up in case it goes wrong and am planning to express and maybe mixed feed once its established anyway.

Thought the TT new bottles looked great so lept in an bought them and the steriliser and have just tried setting it up. I can't seem to ge more than 3 complete sets (bottle, teat, ring and cap) in at a time. Could do 6 in the Avent one.

Anyone else found this or am I missing something???

can't help i'm afraid, I hated the Avent one I had with ds1 and this time just use the dishwasher and a very old, traditional Milton bucket style one!

bumping this for you though

from memory you can do 5 at a time. the discs on the bottom give you a clue where to sit the bottles upside down ie with the bottle neck on the bottom. And then I used to put the teat in the rings and then sit the lids on top (loosely) on the upper level part. Hope that helps!

you can fit 5 in at a time. put 5 bottles in the bottom and balance 2 lids on top of them (balance each lid between 2 bottles). The teats are designed to be sterilised assembled so pull the teats into the rings. On the rack you then put the remaining lids and teats - I used to put a lid at either side of the rack then 3 teats along the back of the rack (1 flat in the middle and the other 2 tilted so that they fit between the 2 lids). put the other 2 teats at the front of the rack and then balance the other lid on the sticky up part in the middle.

Ahhh, thanks guys, if you can sterilise the teats in the rings that makes a huge difference. Pity there wasn't a pic of it loaded properly in the bumf. Still struggling to get 5 of their wide neck ones in but think I've cracked it!

thanks ever so much for your help
