I've had mastitis three times with Lo and although it's not that bad at the moment, no fever or bright red patches, the blocked ducts and painful feeds have been happening for a few weeks now.
I've tried homeopathy/cabbage/ginger baths/vigorous masssage/combing from armpits/pointing baby's chin towards the lump, everything I hear can be helpful basicly, and as soon as one side goes down the other flares up. I cried three times yesterday as he fed on the bad side and I'm really drained and tired.
He is eight months, and as he seems to react badly to me eating dairy - gets very mucousy and wheezy - I imagined that I would feed him for a good while longer to avoid cow's milk. This seems very daunting atm while I can't clear it up. I never had any problems with my older two. Any advice?
