Why aren't there separate boards for breast feeding and bottle feeding?

I'm sure this has been asked before but it seems strange to me (having come from another parenting site) that there aren't two boards. In fact the site I came from had 3 boards, including one for mixed feeding. Would it not avoid a lot of disagreement? Wouldn't those who just ff feel more comfortable about posting on a board specifically for ff?

Just a thought! Probably should have posted this on the site stuff. If it has been mentioned before could someone give me the link to the thread?

I think people would still feel the need to post on both anyway!

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 24/09/2007 09:49

SM, i would post on both even though i ff, just because i ff does not mean i cannot have an opinion or that all the problems asked about would be exclusive to bf's

Yes, it's been asked before

Thankfully, most people who use this site are responsible adults who can cope (very well) with the idea of other parents making different choices.

It's feeding babies not the Gaza strip

Rarh! Yeah! Let's take the disposable people away from the cloth people in the nappy section, and put the potty trainers in a whole new section again!!!!

Tis milk goin in a baby... does it really need 2 or 3 boards?!

Am wondering if any genuine questions on mumsnet ever get genuine replies that don't contain sarcasm! Sorry for asking!

People have answered you, I linked to another thread for you, where this has been discussed in depth.
You shouldn't get pissed off cos you didn't get the answers you wanted, you know.

Gobbledigook · 24/09/2007 11:32

I think the OP has a valid question - not sure why she has got such a response.

policywonk · 24/09/2007 11:36

There's been only one really sarky response - the rest are pretty factual and/or gentle.

Thanks Pruners - makes more sense now. I'm past that stage anyhow but pop on here occasionally to see if I can help with expressing questions.
