I think I've come to the end of my journey with DS 1 hes now 2.5 years only feeds for bedtime I would love to stop but I'm feeding DS 2 6 months old. So the old boobies dont work or sore ect wont work.

How will I go about weaning DS1? Mabye wean them both I'd be fine with that too. DS2 will take a bottle.

I don't think you necessarily need to wean both unless you want to..
Can his dad do bed time for ds1 for a few weeks with a cup of milk so he doesn't associate bed time with feeding?
2.5 is older enough to understand that the milk is just for his baby brother.. maybe buy him a "finished bf" present to celebrat "becoming a big boy?"
Good luck

I hope DS1 will be ok with dad doing bedtime but I dont think itll be likely as hes such a mummies boy. I'm willing to give it a shot. I really wouldnt mind weaning baby too as I dont want to do another 2 years 😂

If you're genuniely happy to wean DS2 can you find a matching cup and bottle that they can both have special bedtime milk in together, mine would love that.

I'd wait to see how you feel about DS2 once you've stopped with DS1, you'll need to do it slowly anyway.

That's a good idea thank you.

My friend bought her elder son a big boy cup for nighttimes (and told him her breasts were just for the baby). He took it really well and weaned over a weekend.

I had the opposite situation with DS 27 months since he only had it in the morning, but we also gave a big cup of milk and a distraction (iPad which I appreciate won’t work at bedtime) and I said ‘no no you’re a big boy here’s your cup of milk’ a couple of days. It was remarkable how quickly he didn’t care anymore!

This gives me hope thank you 😊 the minute he was born he was obsessed it's taken me 2 months just to get him down just the bedtime one. I'm dreading it.
