good morning all!

twice now that i ate blue cheese my DD suffered more than the usual with gas. am i putting this in my head or is it possible that blue cheese doesnt suit her? anyone else had similar experience?

i tried to find this info online and is past threads, but nothing came up.

Might be. I have a client who's son suffers every time she eats onions.

Try staying away from the blue cheese for a few days and if when you try it again the same thing happens you may have to put blue cheese away for a couple of months.

hi mars, i was thinking of doing that too, putting it away for few days and trying again to confirm it.

but why do you say to not eat it for couple of months? is there a chance when she gets a bit older she will cope better with blue cheese?

Yes. I don't see why not. Their digestive systems are still sorting themselves out. I remember grapes used to make one of mine poo for England so I gave them up and then a few months later I had forgotten so I ate them and all was well.

Hope it's the same for you because blue cheese is gorgeous!

I thought eating oranges made by ds colicky. But then it went away. Maybe it did affect my ds, maybe it didn't. Their guts are all over the place at this age.

its so hard to tell isnt it! now i just found out that the pate we bought at the french market gave my DH food poisoning. i ate a little tiny bit yesterday. who was the culprit now, the bad pate or the blue cheese? arrrrgh! anyway, will eat a small piece of blue cheese next week to test it.
