Hi all,
DS is 2wk+4 today. He drinks 4oz every 3-4 hours. But since yesterday he is not happy with it crying after every feed, he brings wind out, so its not wind. He did the same thing this evening, and wanted more milk( he sucked on my cheeks when im hold up)so we gave him another 2oz, and now he is sleeping happily. Is it normal? I dont want to overfeed him. Little worried now.

if he is drinking his milk and not bringing it back up, it is fine, if you were breastfeeding, you would not know how many ounces he was having. if he is hungry he will drink, if not he won't..don't panic

babies tend to be able to regulate their appetite (unlike us ) and will eat when they are hungry and stop when they are full. The rule of thumb is that if your lo is draining their bottles then add an extra ounce into each one until you reach a level where they leave a little - that way they are more likely to go a little longer between feeds and you know they are not left hungry.
