I am still a bit surprised as dd went to sleep without bf tonight.

She was dodging some medicine which i was hoping she'd take before bfing.

She just cuddled down next to me, quietly refusing her medicine and sort of fell asleep without feeding.

I am amazed. this is the first night in 28 months that she has not been bf to sleep.

I bet she'll be up later for milk though.

Is she poorly? A couple of times dd when ill wouldnt feed to sleep but did so once well again.

Ahhh bless her.

She's either exhausted herself avoiding the medicine, or decided that she can go to sleep on her own now!

I bet on one hand you're delighted, and on the other gutted that you've not had a lovely feed together tonight.

no, she isn't poorly, i think. I was hoping to give her some piriton as she has a very runny nose (allergy) and didn't want to be up and down all night with a coughy dd.

would you say the allergies would make her feel poorly?

that's how it is coleyboy. it was so unexpected as she is a real milk monster.

Runny nose could mean she is blocked up and finding it difficult to feed and breath maybe?

kiskidee · 07/09/2007 21:07

it is runny but not congested. she had no probs to feed about an hr before. her snot is very thin and clear. I don't suffer hayfever so i don't know. she does, thanks to daddy.

Allergies don't make you feel poorly as such, I think they can be more tiring than anything else.

You'll be poking dd awake in the night/morning as you'll have boobs like rocks

kiskidee · 07/09/2007 21:10

they already are feeling itchy for missing that cuddly feed tonight.
