SIL had a few beers last night and wants to know how long before alcohol is out of system as she id breastfeeding????

baby is 7 weeks old and she has had her first night out, is worrying about when to start feeding him.she stopped drinking at 10pm she had roughly 6 drinks.advice please

As far as I know, she should be fine now.

I heard somewhere, that if you don't feel pissed anymore it should be ok, that is, if your body has metabolised the alcohol, it won't be in the milk either.

I'm no expert though
