Best time to express?

Have a Medela swing, going to use for the first time this week and wondered when people found it best to express? TIA X

Milk production is highest between 3am - 9am.

When baby is feeding on the other boob I found.

Straight after the first morning feed.

Oh I just used to do it as and when I felt I was a bit over supplied. First thing in the morning is a good suggestion. Just make sure in the long run you express both sides equally. I.e. If only expressing once a day, one boob one day then switch the other day otherwise you could end up uneven or one side with other supply.
