To try infant / newborn probiotics (Biocare Baby Bioflora?)

Has anybody used these (such as Biocare Baby Bioflora) and did you have any success with it?

I have a very windy baby (both ends) who gets very upset and awoke straining to release the gas in his gut.

We've tried Infacol (helps with the to end but suspect had is forming in his gut so no use with that) and Colief (just seemed to make everything run through him but no real improvement) so I'm now clutching at straws to help the poor little thing!

Is this 'woo', is it safe and would it be a reasonable thing to try?

Sorry for the typos. That's 'top end' and suspect 'gas is forming in the gut'.

Soothing a fussy baby here with one hand!

A private gastro paeditrician recommended (amongst other things) bio gaia probiotic drops to me when my daughter was a month old, she wasn’t pooing at all and was just generally very uncomfortable with her digestion. It was the single best miracle product I’ve ever used, honestly it fixed her within a day!! You can buy from Amazon. Obviously everyones experience will differ but I’d personally strongly recommend. I even wrote a review on Amazon I was so happy!! We used for a few months then stopped and she was fine by then
