Breastfeeding and pumping

I've read a few different articles with conflicting advice on how long you can keep breast milk in the fridge/freezer and at room temperature. My LO is a little over 3 months old and it'll be my first time expressing as I'm going out for lunch next weekend with a friend for her birthday for a few hours, and my partner is watching the baby. Any advice welcome!

I was told by an NHS breastfeeding midwife:
6 hours room temp
6 days fridge (at the back where it's cold not the door)
6 months in the freezer

I've read the '666' rule but was also told it was '444', so it's left me confused 🤷🏻‍♀️

When you take it out the fridge for a feed, can you take it out an hour before so it cools to room temp? I assume it'll be too cold if fed straight from the fridge? Sorry if this question sounds daft, new to this!

Ours has it straight out of the fridge but your LO might be pickier. He also loves little ice lollies made from breast milk, great when teething.
