I've got a feckin lovebite from an 8 month old. Dh thinks it's hilarious

You'd have thought he (ds that is) would have worked out the anatomy of milk production by now...

DD attaches to my arm flab all the time

DD latched on to DP's nose once.

I used to love it when mine did this

Mmm very tempted to aim ds at dh's nose. That'd teach him to roffle at my purple chin.

I used to be really toned and go to the gym every day. Now I do the step class which involves climbing the stairs to see why DD has woken up for the 15th time each night

I also have permanently bruised arms from being pinched continually during breastfeeds. Little bugger seems to think it makes the milk come out quicker!

not much lovebitage though as he's only 20 weeks

oh I love it when ds2(18 wks) does this also went for my nose recently and he has sucked my cheek

DS self weaned a few weeks ago. I'd been b/feeding for over 2 years. Its a long old time.

Do you still have milk???? Ooh I could have two hours off......she would nurse the cat if he'd sit still long enough

Took 18 months though

DD latched onto DH's nose once and he looked ever so surprised and said "ooh she sucks really hard. It hurts!" Cue meaningful look down at sore boobs. Er yes!

DD once swallowed a shirt button when she attached to DH's new shirt. I was very embarrassed and phoned GP who laughed quite a lot and said 'it'll come out if she's swallowed it'. It did too. Offered to sew it back on, DH declined.

CF - you need to learn to control yourself or aim lower

Hell I'd forgotten about things like that. It's the love bites on the wrong bit of your boob when they get impatient that are hard to deal with. At least this time round I don't have a partner I need to explain them to

Yep we've had nose and chin here (mine and DH's), long after I stopped breastfeeding.

Since ds2 sprouted teeth I very quick to stop him if he latches on to the wrong place! But I did use to love the little hickeys he would leave me with. (Only my children have ever given me lovebites!) He will still occasionally latch on to my chin - relatively gently - and gaze contemplatively down his nose at me.

DD will still go for my belly button (which is an inny!) if I let her and she is crawling around in bed searching for nork.
