Dd2 is 2.5, and her twin brother stopped feeding at 22 months. But I know I have to stop her soon she is going to school in Sept, and I need to start St. John's wort. So when she asked me tonight for milk, it broke my heart to say 'milk is finished now', she took it ok, but will I cope ???

Not having any more kids, so this is it. Dh has been pressuring me for a while to stop feeding her, I just find it hard beacuse when it is done, that's it.

I only feed her once a day, but we both love it !! I can't believe I am actually getting tearful about it....

A couple of days and you'll both be fine about it.

pq - I don't think I will be fine, dd1 stopped herself at 9 months and I still feel awful about it and she is nearly 5 !!! I am not interested in being an extended breast-feeder though.

Avia-trix - I don't know, I guess I keep trying to give myself a timetable to stop, first it was 1 year then 2 years, now when she starts school.
