Ok, so not strictly in right topic as I actually don't seem to have any breasts anymore. Stopped b/f about a month ago. Am depressed at lack of bosoms. First, I have giant bosoms whilst pregnant that DH isn't allowed to touch. Then I have giant b/f bosoms that I also don't want DH to touch. Now, I have small shrivelly things that I'd quite like DH to touch but can't see why he would want to. Sigh.

takes a year for them to go back to normal

so don't lose all faith .. my norks are fab now after 2 lots of extended breastfeeding (eat much cake / chocolate to ensure plumptitude )

men don't notice anyway .. I'm sure he'd love to if you want him to (took about 2 years for me to want them touched again tbh so am impressed)

Thanks Hedwigg, that's good to know. When I say 'quite like DH to touch' I think if I'm honest with myself I'm saying 'I'd quite like to want DH to touch' IYSWIM. Off for some choc.

you do of course have to give up on the ass to recover the norks through chocolate and cake .. but oh well, in this world compromises must be made

Yes, this happened to me too - spent 4 years lactating with 34D/E boobs, when youngest finished last year...nothing. It is very depressing. I've just had a boob job because it was affecting me so much and I couldn't even bear to get undressed in front of my dh.

SydneyB · 11/07/2007 14:38

's not fair.

Electra, gosh, really? Are you pleased with the new ones??

People say it's pregnancy not breastfeeding that causes the change but I don't think that's strictly true - breastfeeding seems to have a liposuction effect - even my back is bonier. Not that I would change my decision to bf - think it's great and if I had another I would bf again.

Sydney - I only had it recently, and there are risks but the surgeon has done a great job - they look just like they did pre-children.

Is like the top half of you drops down into the bottom half.

It does not necessarily follow that your boobs won't recover though .. mine are a DD cup and still in the vague position they should be

witchandchips · 11/07/2007 14:57

Mine (18 months on from stopping) are still towards the spaniels ears end of the spectrum but dressed up in nice bra can look quite fetching. So go bra shopping you may be surprised

SydneyB · 11/07/2007 14:57

Hope so as am a) too broke b)too scared for boob job. Oh, and c) want another LO and want to b/f.

aaah yes...went from an A cup to ...well...no cup required..atall whatsoever.

it's a bit of a toughy...but you might start feeling better about it after a while, when the memory of your fab breast feeding boobage fades a bit?
