Really quick question. I've just expressed a little (to try and release a little milk from engorged breast before feeding. Can she still drink from it?

I had this problem and apparently it's not uncommon. I was advised to carry on as usual.

If you're baby possets you may see some of this "altered" blood mixed in.

Also if there's a fair bit your dc might have black specks in her poo - the old blood, apparently
