Hi,
Help,Im at the end of my teather.I am still bfing dd1 at 14 months.Have successfully managed to wean him off breast during day and he never asks for it now.We both enjoy a bedtime feed and morning feed. However he wakes up 2 or 3 times in the night DEMANDING bf !We have tried everything, but no matter what he turns into a vision from the exorsist movie end only a bf stops the hysteria.I got my husband to leave hime the other night and after less than 5 mins he got into such a temper he vomited-i felt like such a s**t.
I still have oodles of milk.
Any sensible suggestions gratefully received.Have 2 older children and a husband who needs some sleep.New neighbours with no children and rather thin walls !

DD breast feed in the night until we stopped bedtime and early morning feed. I think she got completely confused when I tried to stop one feed at the time in the end when she was 18 months bit the bullet and stopped suddenly ( tight bra for me)and loads of hugs from her daddy for both of us adn it took me longer to adjust than her - don't feel bad all of them are different and it is a question of finding wht works best for you and yours

I have just started weaning off the night feeds with my dd - she is 10 months old. She still gets one around 4-5am. If she won´t go back to sleep I give her a drink of water from a teat bottle and hugs. Last nite she was unsettled also from her first tooth so I also lay her on my chest her on stomach which settled her. I don´t want to let her cry at all.

Good luck
