Anyone completed the La Leche League b/f counselling course???

Which course, ducks...the peer counsellor course or the leader course? The peer counsellor course qualifies you at 'supporter' level....it's not the same as a breastfeeding counsellor course. Maybe let us know what you're doing, and then people will respond

Sorry tiktok, i basically want to do some training to become a breastfeeding counsellor and am unsure as to which would be the most 'appropriate' course for me!!!

Have looked at ABM course mostly, I would prefer home study so possibly rules out the NCT??? Other option is La Leche League???
Don't mind doing voluntary phone counselling either... Just desperate to get meself out there, just have limited knowledge at the mo

Do you have an LLL group near you that you can attend to get an idea about what being a leader involves? All groups will have a folder in their group library about the process of becoming a lesder that you can borrow to see if you are interested. If you dont have a local group then you can ask via the LLLGB website, where there is also some info about being a leader...
