Hi - I have become a tad obsessed with breastfeeding since having my son 15wks ago. I was given some great advice by mumsnetters when it wasnt going very well, and now its brilliant! Anyway - i thought id mention the breastfeeding manifesto here in case anyone had not come across it. The Breastfeeding Manifesto makes seven key recommendations that will improve infant feeding practice and empower women, irrespective of their socio-economic background, to breastfeed for as long as they choose. (last sentence lifted from babycafe ) In scotland it is against the law to prevent a woman breastfeeding in public, but its not in England. Why not??? If you are interested go to www.breastfeedingmanifesto.org.uk and sign the petition and check if your MP has signed it too. Thanks!
