...and our routine (for what its worth) is all over the bloomin place. Before she had a tummy bug a few months ago she was having 3 7oz bottles a day, would eat fairly well and pretty much slept through the night. If she woke, I I would give her water. Since her illness she has pretty much only wanted milk and yesterday she had about 3 6oz bottles in the day, 10oz at bedtime, woke at 4.30 signing milk. I gave her another 4oz thinking that should see her through. She then woke at 5.30 and I have just given in and given her another 4oz. She hasn't wanted any breakfast. She knows the signs for food, water and milk and just signs milk all the time. In the last 24 hours she has had about 36oz milk and hardly any food. Her nappies are like a newborns!!

Did anyone else go through this - should I just ride it out or try to reduce her intake? I do wonder whether she might be coming down with something - chicken pox is rife in our area at the moment and she is very, very whiney and clingy.

Is she cutting some more teeth, i found dd would go off food when she cut any teeth and was very whiney and clingy.

Thanks, she has just cut one at the bottom so I suppose another could be coming through. When she has been teething before she has gone off milk as well as food but I suppose it could be that.
