Well that's what DS2 thinks the DC3 will drink when he comes.

Conversation on the way home from town this morning.

DS2 (3 1/2yrs) "Baby's don't drink milk"
ME: "Oh what do they drink then"
DS2: "Chocolate Milkshake"
ME: "What makes you think that"
DS": "Because you drink lots now and say it's because the baby likes it"

............think I have some quick educating to do be done incase he tries to feed the baby chocolate milkshake

well my newborn dd would have had curry then! I had one at least once a week till I was 26 weeks cos 'the baby likes it'!

fannyannie · 17/05/2007 12:23

one a week - is that all - I can (easily) go through 2-4 litres of milkshake a DAY at the moment (though try to limit myself to 2 )

ok - so I lied - have already gone through 3 litres today - and the night is yet young (and I tend to drink more in the evenings)

my comp had a crazy moment can you tell?

I lived on chocolate milkshake too when I was pregnant, although I never had more than a litre a day, and more usually just a pint a day. DS (15 months) has yet to taste it since he came out .

not as funny as my mate on the phone right now telling me her in laws think she should be feeding her baby protein shakes. (if she reads this, sorry but too good not to share)

fannyannie · 17/05/2007 20:10

protein shakes !!!!!

Are you kidding me - DH has lots of protein shakes in the house - but the DS's know them as "daddy's medicine" (I know them as daddy's 'phwar' drinks now the weights are starting to give results ) so they know they're not allowed to touch them.

They think she is too thin! I'm just holding the phone to my ear making the right noises as she rants! Her MIL is insane.

Am currently bf ds, eating lots of chocolate and then jumping up and down to ensure that he has the full chocolate milkshake experience!
