Food on holiday

Going on holiday soon it will be DD first holiday abroad she would have just turned one. Just wanted some advice on what others did regarding meals we are half board so mainly eating at the hotel. My concern is I have always try to ensure DD has a good diet and never add salt to her food. However I imagine hotel food will be quite high in salt. Am I being to over the top about this? She will be one so I know she will be allowed more salt in her diet by then.

I would not stress about it. Just give a good mix of whole foods - lots of fruit and veg, bread, rice, roast or grilled meats, just avoid the more processed stuff (like baked beans or sauces, gravies, etc.). You can bring some snacks from home, like crackers, breadsticks, etc. But if you offer more whole, natural foods from your main meals you should avoid too much added sugar and salt. Then just cook more healthy things when you are cooking for yourself for breakfast, snacks, etc.
