My MW recommended the Pregnacare Breastfeeding vitamins.

Congratulations on your new baby. Thanks

I use seven seas made specifically for breastfeeding mums. Quite expensive so I bought them from boots when they had 3 for the price of 2.

You need vitamin D and folic acid, and to avoid anything with too much vitamin A in it - I was told not to use a standard (non pregnancy) multivitamin by my midwife. I just bought separate folic acid and vitamin D.

Sorry, I was thinking of ttc - will try to read and absorb the OP next time! Though vitamin D at least is always useful.

I know less about breastfeeding, other than making sure you have plenty of calcium in your diet - otherwise your body gets it from your bones, which is bad news long term.
