I don't know if anyone has noticed but Boots seem to charge more for Hipp Organic first milk than other supermarkets by £1.00! I thought stores could not differ on pricing for first milks? Am I wrong?

I did write to Boots asking about this and their response was "due to increase in trade cost"!

Hipp itself only charge £8.50 for its first milk!
Am I the only one feeling very annoyed about this??
I know I can go to other stores to buy Hipp but it's the principle of it all.

Stores can price how they want. They just can't offer discounts on it

If you look, you'll find that Boots charge more than other places for just about everything. It's an expensive shop. If you have a choice, shop elsewhere.

You might find the supermarkets also put it up fairly soon.

They aren’t allowed to run promotions on first milk or offer incentives to buy it (e.g boots advantage points).

FWIW Aldi Mamia milk is only £6.99 a tub and as far as I have been able to make out it is virtually exactly the same as aptimil.
