You can read while bfing (with a bit of practice)
Def health benefits - DS is startlingly healthy compared with other babies I know
weight loss for mother (eventually)
makes you sit down, rest and concentrate on your baby

is that ok? I love the last sentence about the crutch btw- dont think that I will put that bit in though. Is it ok the use the middle sentence about bf?

if my assignment ever becomes famous I will pay you royalties and have t-shirts made with the sentence on.

Just remembered something very, very frightening. At my NHS antenatal class we were all given cards with things like "no need to make bottles", "Dad can help with the feeding", "You can see how much the baby is getting" written on, and had to put them in the advantages of bf or advantages of ff pile. I can't believe it really happened. No summing up about the health benefits of bf, just left to look at equal sized piles of advantages for both

Dancing late into the night with martinis does not have to stop because of bf

Ive just googled and came across benefits of both on BBC- most was the benefits of the 'convenience' of both as opposed to actual health benefits!

  1. lay in supplies of vodka and Martini
  2. turn up stereo
  3. let nature take its course!

Swizzler how old is your LO? If it's any consolation, my DS was the same (and diet coke too - I felt life was hardly worth living when I had to give them both up) but it only lasted a few weeks and now I can much chocolate and chug diet coke with no ill effects...except perhaps to my big belly

leoness - loads on this in archives. Try searching on alcohol. You only need to express for the time you are actually away from your baby.
