My little boys 15 weeks tomorrow, and I stopped smoking during pregnancy but started again when he turned 10 weeks I then started again (boredom, social) I've just fount out that nicotine goes into my breastmill which my little mans getting sad
I'm just wondering will I be able to stop straight away (get a e pen with no nicotine) or will I have stop gradually.
Tbh I have noticed that he's sleeps gone funny and I'm putting it down to that. I don't want to smoke again but I'd like something that replaces the habit, any ideas PLEASE

The sleep thing could be unrelated, it could just be the 4 month sleep regression which lots of babies get around 16 weeks.

I don't actually know the answer to your questions. Have you tried cutting down and seeing if he shows any reactions?

According to this article it takes around 95 minutes for half of the nicotine to leave the system.

If you call one of the the Bfing Helplines they may know more on the effects of nicotine withdrawal Smile
